GRAYSTONE BANK TO HOLD 2ND ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF OUTING

The Graystone Bank 2nd Annual Charity Golf Outing will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, at Meadia Heights Golf Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Graystone Bank Charity Outing, which was held for the first time last year, raised over $12,600 for local Nonprofits. All proceeds from the outing this year will benefit the following charities: PA Family Institute, Dayspring Christian Academy, Dauphin County Library, Jewish Family Services, PIAA Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations. JOE BERTOTTO SPEAKS AT LEADERSHIP HARRISBURG LUNCHEON REGARDING BEST PLACES TO WORK IN PA

Joe Bertotto, Director of Relationship Development at Graystone Bank, spoke to a group of attendees during a recent 2007-08 Leadership Luncheon Series organized by Leadership Harrisburg Area. The luncheon, held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, was part of the Leadership Luncheon Series focused on the Best Places to Work in PA 2007. Mr. Bertotto shared the philosophies behind Graystone Bank and what helped make Graystone the #1 Best Place to Work in PA for 2007. GRAYSTONE BANK CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING IN YORK COUNTY

May 12, 2008 – Graystone Financial Corp., the parent company for Graystone Bank, officially opened Graystone Bank's 8th branch office this morning. The office, located at 2270 East Market Street, York, commemorated the special occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m. The branch will continue to celebrate with the community the remainder of the week with fun, food, gifts and games on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17.

"We are thrilled to be able to expand our services to another premier market in central PA and are honored to celebrate the opening of Graystone's first branch in York county with our employees, customers , and the local community. GRAYSTONE BANK EXCEEDS $500 MILLION IN ASSETS

May 1, 2008 – Graystone Financial Corp. (the “Company”), the parent company for Graystone Bank, announced today that Graystone Bank has surpassed $500 million in assets. Graystone Bank, which opened in November, 2005, has set records as one of the fastest growing de novo banks in Pennsylvania. This latest accomplishment represents yet another impressive milestone for the organization.

GRAYSTONE EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATES IN PA CHAMBER IT PANEL

March 5, 2008 (Harrisburg, PA) - The PA Chamber recently hosted an interactive Information Technology Security Roundtable that provided attendees with valuable information about protecting customer credit card information. IT experts reviewed Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards and outlined measures that need to be taken with regard to physical protection versus virtual protection.

The educational roundtable also featured a panel discussion that addressed top IT security threats, including: mobile service protection; company system infiltration prevention; and older equipment donation precautions. Howard Stein, Senior Vice President, Director of Operations for Graystone Bank was a member of the threeperson panel. The panel also addressed how to handle an employee who provides sensitive company information to a competitor. The event concluded with a question and answer session.

GRAYSTONE CELEBRATES EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION WEEK

March 3, 2008 - This week marks employee appreciation week at Graystone Bank where all employees are being honored for their hardwork and dedication to the organization. The events were kicked off with an employee breakfast Monday, cooked by Senior Management. Many other special events are planned throughout the week, including: raffles, drawings, and a Friday lunch.

GRAYSTONE BANK ANNOUNCES FREE UNLIMITED ATM TRANSACTIONS

March 3, 2008 (Harrisburg, PA) - Andrew S. Samuel, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, announced the latest reason to bank with Graystone Bank; free unlimited ATM transactions. Graystone Bank customers can now use their ATM card free of charge anywhere in the world with no strings attached.

While many area banks who are struggling with bad loans, a weakening economy and an interest rate squeeze have chosen to raise their ATM fees as an additional revenue stream, Graystone Bank has chosen to take an alternative stance. “We believe in giving customers access to their money anytime, anywhere,” said Samuel, “free ATM usage anywhere in the world is just another great reward of banking with Graystone Bank.”

Beginning March 1st, Graystone Bank customers will be reimbursed monthly for all foreign ATM transaction fees incurred during the calendar month. Graystone Bank customer, Bill Sutton stated, “In an environment where gas prices continue to soar, one less fee and a few extra dollars in your pocket is a reason to celebrate!”

GRAYSTONE BANK PARTICIPATES IN 20TH ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BANKS

On February 25, 2008, a team of ten Graystone Bank employees from Harrisburg and Lancaster participated in the 20th Annual “Battle of the Banks,” benefiting the S. June Smith Center in Lancaster, PA. The S. June Smith Center assists children with developmental needs through education and therapeutic activities.

The “Battle of the Banks” united several banks from the region to compete against each other in four relay games to earn both fundraising and competition points. The Graystone Bank team, placing 4th in the overall competition, raised a total of $1,230, which will directly benefit the following programs at the Center: Project Together, SPLASH, Miracles ‘N Motion, Community Outreach, and Pre-School. The “Battle of the Banks” fundraiser brought in proceeds totaling over $20,000.
